And just like that, it’s fall. ‘Tis the season for fading sunlight, crisp breezes, warm spices, scary movies, and all things pumpkin. Today we celebrate the autumnal equinox, the first day of fall according to the astronomical system (the meterological system recognizes it on September 1st). As we enter a new season, take the time to check in with yourself. Consider the areas of your life that need to be let go of and what no longer serves you or gets in your way. Just like the leaves on the trees, it’s time for these things to drop and wither.
In honor of my favorite season, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite pumpkin recipes from the archives for you to enjoy. Wishing you a lovely equinox and season ahead!
- pumpkin cookies with whisky vanilla glaze
- chai spiced pumpkin doughnuts with cashew butter glaze
- iced pumpkin spice cold brew latte
- pumpkin soup with roasted turnips & pepitas
- pumpkin bread with toasted hazelnuts & sage
- pumpkin cacao nib pancake stack
- dark chocolate pumpkin truffles with smoked sea salt
- pumpkin steel cut oats with maple cinnamon apples
